Azerbaijan National History Museum of ANAS issued the collection of papers “Azerbaijan during First World War”. Materials for published articles have been collected under the guidance of director of museum, academician Nailya Valikhanli and scientific secretary, PhD Farkhad Jabbarov who is scientific editor of papers. Papers included in the collection throw new light on role and place of Azerbaijan during war.

Article of PhD Zarifa Dulayeva is titled “Precondition, beginning and course of First World War” gives a clear view of war. Article of Z. Dulayev and M. Mamedov “Baku during First World War”, “On little-known fact from military history of Ganja”, PhD Bakhman Karimov’s article “Theme of First World War on the pages of newspapers “Iqbal” and “Yeni Iqbal”, Ali Farkhadov’s article “Interrelations of Azerbaijan with Osman Empire during world war” deals with military –political situation in Azerbaijan during war. In the article of PhD Sabukhi Akhmadov is titled “Tatar cavalry in the battlefields”, PhD Mamed Mamedov’s article “First Azerbaijan pilots-participants of war”, Inna Kostina’s article “Azerbaijani doctors in hospitals”,  Eldar Elkhan oghli Ismayilov’s article “Azerbaijani military units in the army of Russian Empire: from the first irregular units to Tatar cavalry regiment”, “Azerbaijani awarded Order of St. George and Weapon  of St. George and during First World War”, Narmin Bagirova’s article   “First Azerbaijani nurse”,  informs about national military units and participants of war. In the article of Rena Safarova “Memorial collection of General Ali agha Shikhlinski in National Azerbaijan History Museum”,  Narmin Baghirova’s  paper  “Memorable evidence of First world war in the collection of National Azerbaijan History Museum”, article of  PhD  Makhfuza Zeynalova deals with exhibits stored in museum and its demonstration in new exposition”.

Articles of Z. Dulayeva “Every war ends with peace” and Sabukhi Akhmadov’s  article  “Results of First World War for Azerbaijan” shows results of war for Azerbaijan.
