National Museum of Azerbaijan History pays special attention to the collection, promotion and scientific study of the rich cultural heritage of our people, and regularly conducts work in this area. Recently, the museum has received national clothing samples.
Related to the beginning of XX century ethnographic objects are composed of silver decorated apron, men's headdress – “shabkulah”, saddle embroidered in “gulyabatan” style.
Relating to the end of the XIX century apron belongs to the Zagatala region. The apron is made of matter “zarkhara” of red and decorated with silver coins. Men's hats shabkulah conical shape adorned with golden plates with turquoise stone.
Saddle for a horse belonging to inhabitant of the Mardakan, refers to the end of the XIX century. Saddle made of velvet embroidered in gulabatin style.
Historical items are important in enriching the museum's collection of ethnographic materials, as well as the study of the culture of our people's clothes.
