Tirme Collections of ANAS National History Museum have caused Harvard University scientist's interest
Jeff Spurr, an expert of the Department of Islamic Art at the Boston Art Museum and a teacher at Harvard University, visited the National History Museum of ANAS.
The guest was closely acquainted with exhibits of the museum's ethnographic scientific fund. He has been interested in the art of knitting in Azerbaijan and has collected information about the collections.
The carpet products, especially the types of rugs, have attracted the attention of the art historian.
J. Spurr shared his experiences in this field with the staff of the Ethnographic Science Department and gave his recommendations.
