Head of Scientific Exposition and Exhibition Organization Department of National Museum of Azerbaijan History of ANAS, Ph.D. Sabuhi Akhmedov's book "Azerbaijani Weapons in IX-XVII centuries: evolution and development" has been published. Doctor of History Shahin Farzaliyev, Nurulla Aliyev, Tarikh Dostiev and PhD in History Farah Huseyn are the reviewers of the book and director of the museum Naila Valikhanli is the scientific editor of the publication. The book analyzes the Azerbaijani weapons of the time based on archaeological, descriptive and written sources for the first time and their characteristic features are determined. Conducting research on different sources allows identifying the appearance, structure, and names of weapons. The publication classifies the Azerbaijani weapons based on international classification systems. The carried out scientific research allows to determine the evolution and development of the Azerbaijani weapons.
