National Museum of Azerbaijan History received a unique ethnographic material
One of the clothes, characterizing the religious garment of Azerbaijan, is considered woman's headdress - the hijab.
Recently, ANAS National Museum of Azerbaijan History has received a unique ethnographic material.
This is a handkerchief made by goat silk, which weaved by machine.
On material with the cotton thread are embroidered diamond-shaped patterns.
According to experts, referring to the beginning of the XX century the handkerchief was used in Khinalig village of Guba region.
