National Museum of Azerbaijan History preserves currencies of ADR at Bonistics collection of the Museum. The first independent state of democracy in the Muslim world ADR's independent money emission begins with the banknotes of 1, 25, 50, 100, 250 and 500 banknotes at the beginning of 1919. On the face of the banknote there is the expression nominal value and the date of release in the Republic and on the back, in the Russian language "Аzerbaydjanskaya Respublika". The ADR's economic policy in this area was aimed at the international recognition of its national currency. Monetary units and bonds of the Republic period are of great importance for the study of that period and are waiting for their researchers.
