Map of the Caucasus made in the XVIII century had brought to Ganja from the Alexandria Library of Egypt

Map of the Caucasus kept in London, and then protected in the archive of Alexandria Library of Egypt concerning to XVIII century had brought to Ganja. The feature of the maps is that there is no territory and place about Armenians. According to information given by deputy director of theGanja Regonal Scientific Center Samir Pishnamazzadeh, this precious historical document presented by the director of the Alexandria Library of Egypt, Dr. Ismail Serageldin to Ganja had been made by the secret service of United Kingdom in 1705, 1780 and 1795.


 

In the map made in different years and consisting of 3 parts was reflected that, Daghlig-Karabakh region is the land of Azerbaijan. The areas where Armenians live now have been presented as a province of Azerbaijan in the map. It is clear that, there are was not the name of Karabakh, writing of Echmiaddin area as Uchmazin, Karabakh over the lake of Sevan rejected all claims of Armenians.
