The virtual museum of Ganja will be operated in Smithson University, US.

This offer was given during the visit of Paul Michael Taylor, head of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History to Ganja, informed Samir Pishnamazzade, deputy director for scientific affairs at the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Ganja Scientific Center. P.M.Taylor said that they show great interest to historical and archaeological findings of ancient city and considered expedient to establish a museum in University. As stated, memorandum on this issue will be signed in Ganja after the discussions in Washington. Samir Pishnamazzade added that, catalog of more than 500 historical monuments was crafted and sent to Smithson University.
