A group of employees from one of the largest and oldest museums of the Czech Republic- General Director of the National Museum of the Czech Republic Michael Lukas together with his Deputies Eva Diterova and Dagmar Fialova visited National Museum of History of Azerbaijan.
Director, academician Nailya Valikhanli welcomed the quests emphasizing importance of bilateral relations and cooperation of Azerbaijan and Czech Republic as well as the importance of including exhibition entitled “Czech Garnet” which will be open on 1st June in the programme of the Second World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue at present moment held in Baku.
During his visit Michael Lukas expressed his happiness being in Azerbaijan and emphasized rapid development of museum affair in Azerbaijan last years.
And later on he stressed the significance of above-mentioned exhibition demonstrated for Azerbaijan visitors which plays an important role in mutual cooperation among our countries. Later on Nailya Valikhanli informed about preparation for the exhibition entitled “Czech garnet” and told about joint work of Azerbaijan and Czech museums’ employees with their involvement and participation was organized and completed the exhibition.
Quests from the Czech Republic got acquainted with permanent exhibition as well as with exhibition “Museum of History through children’s eyes”.
