Two treasures of primitive rulers with Czech garnets
Treasure from the tomb of a Germanic prince, Cézavy-Blučina near Brno. This man was killed during a diplomatic journey in the second half of the fifth century.
The tomb was discovered in 1953. The golden parts of the weapons and equipment resemble those of Childeric. Tomb of Frankish king Childeric I who died in 481 in Tournai, Belgium, as of 1653 contained gold jewels as part of the furnishings and weapons. The ironwork of the sword used polished Czech garnets. This treasure has since for the most part been destroyed.
