By National Museum of History of   Azerbaijan has been edited a new book on a prominent entrepreneur, philanthropist and a public figure Hadji  Zeynaldbdin Taghiyev.

The scientific secretary of the museum PhD Farkhad Jabbarov is the author of the book “Contemporaries on Hadji  Zeynalbdin Taghiyev”  (Baku, “Ziya”, 2013, p.206). 

The book deals with essays and memories of figures who were contemporaries of H.Z. Taghiyev.

The book contains full texts of essays, memories of  Taghiyev’s   contemporaries  including  his first  biographer  Nariman  Narimanov, Naghi  beg  Sheykhzamanli  and they  named  H.Z. Taghiyev  “the father of nation”.

Besides that the book will familiarize  readers with thoughts of the well-known figures of   the reviewed period on Taghiyev’s activity, as well as on opening the first girls’ school in the Muslim World, and   organization of  Mardakan gardening school.

Special interest was caused by the following   chapters  “H.Z. Taghiyev’s weaving-mill through the eyes of workers” and “H.Z. Taghiyev in memory of city residents”. Poems devoted by contemporaries to Taghiyev have been described in the book as well.

This book includes essays and memories about prominent philanthropist, entrepreneur Hadji  Zeynalabdin Taghiyev, his life and sociable  activity.

Presentation of  the book will be shortly held  at the museum.
