The National Azerbaijan History Museum will host an international conference on “Restoration, Conservation and Protection of physical cultural monuments” on October 29-30.

According to the museum, the event will bring together scientists, experts and heads of different authorities from the US Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage, the Russian Hermitage Museum, the Ukrainian Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University, the Turkmen Carpet Museum, the Uzbekistan State Museum, as well as from Turkey, Egypt, Germany and other countries.
The Azerbaijani museum will host an exhibition of copper plates on the first day of the conference.
