National Azerbaijan History Museum issued a new book titled “New book on coinage of Azerbaijan Safavid State”.

Scientific editor is director of museum, acad. Nailya Valikhanli, and the author of the book is the head of Numismatic fund of museum, Doctor of historical sciences, professor Ali Rajabli.  A book deals with coinage of Safavid State during XVI- and early XVIII centuries. The book has been compiled on the base of numismatic materials preserved and kept in Numismatic fund of National Azerbaijan History Museum. Collection of coins of Safavid State found in different regions of Azerbaijan Republic have been described in the book.  The book demonstrates rare and interesting collection of  coins with illustrations. The book deals with detailed information of coinage and monetary circulation during Safavid State.
