Azerbaijan in the VII-XII centuries: history, sources, comments. Baku, 2016. 408 p.
The book is written on the basis of primary sources on the history and geography of the Middle Ages and covers a wide range of issues in the history of Azerbaijan for six centuries - being in the Arab Caliphate, the economic and cultural upsurge of the early 13th century and interrupted by the Mongol invasion. The book also provides translations of commentaries to fifteen Arabic-language sources, touching upon various aspects of the fundamental changes that took place in Azerbaijan as a result of the Arab conquest. Much attention was paid to the problems of relations between the feudal states of the 9th-12th centuries, as well as the ties of the Caliphate with Azerbaijan.
