In the Museum’s collection, there is an especially valuable artefact which refers to an important event which had occurred at the beginning of XX century and became a milestone in the history of not only Azerbaijan but also the entire Muslim world. The artefact is a photograph taken at the opening ceremony of Muslim Boarding School for Girls - the first ever modern school for the Muslim females founded in 1901 at the expense of Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev.
