International scientific symposium devoted to the 110-anniversary of establishment of the first secular female school of Baku in the Muslim East, on October 6-7, 2011.

   The National Museum of  History of Azerbaijan NASA  together with the State committee of the Azerbaijan Republic on problems of family, women and children  convenes  the International scientific symposium devoted to the 110-anniversary of establishment  of the first  secular female school  in the Muslim East, on October 6-7, 2011.

The symposium includes discussions about following themes:

-  History of female education in Azerbaijan;

-  History of female education: experience of the East and the West;

-  Sponsorship and charity in education;

-  Role of women in a social- political and cultural life:history and modern position.

For participation in the symposium it is necessary to send the thesis and the form blank till April 15, 2011  to the  e-mail:  farhadcabbarov@mail.ru.

In case of confirmation of the thesis, reports should be sent on the specified address till July 10, 2011.

Invitations for participation in the symposium will be sent till September, 15 2011. The invited participants should confirm the participation till September, 25, 2011.

Accommodation and hosting expenses of foreign participants during their stay in Baku will be paid by the host country. Transportation costs (arrival and departure) for the symposium in Baku belong to the participants. 

Requirements for theses

1.         At the beginning of the thesis should be specified: a surname, a name, an academic degree (if you have any), a workplace and a position (if you have), contact phones, an e-mail of the reporter.

2.  Theses can be in Azerbaijan, English and Russian languages.

       3.         Text capacity - up to 1 page.

4.  Typeface - Times New Roman, 14, line spacing - 1,5.

Requirements for reports

1. At the beginning of the report should be specified: a surname, a name, an academic degree (if you have any), a workplace and a position (if you have), contact telephones, an e-mail of the reporter.
2. Reports should be sent to the Organizing Committee after accurate editing.
3. Reports can be in Azerbaijan, English and Russian languages.

Requirements for text of reports

1. Text capacity –up to 10 pages.

2. Typeface-Times New Roman, 14, line spacing-1, 5.

3. Footnotes- at the end of each page. Typeface-Times New Roman, 12, line spacing-1.

4. Name, Surname of author, title of report should me specified by italics (Italic).

The Organizing committee reserves the right for selection, sending back of reports, modification in the text (without change of the general content).

Speech

Allotted time of reporter in the symposium -10-15 minutes.

Speech can be in Azerbaijan, English and Russian languages (Translation will be provided)
