As part of a state visit of President Ilham Aliyev to the Czech Republic on April 5, 2012 “Memorandum of Understanding” between National Museum of History of Azerbaijan and National Museum of Czech Republic was signed. It was aimed at a long-term relationship of cooperation, common projects, as well as exhibitions and conferences, mutual exchange of publications and other questions between two countries.We have to point out that initial agreement on cooperation among country museums  was obtained during meetings of General Director of National Museum of the Czech Republic Michal Lukes at National Museum of History of Azerbaijan on September, 2011.
