A new catalog devoted to the 200th anniversary of a well-known writer, playwright, and educator Mirza Fatali Akhundzadeh was published by ANAS History Museum of Azerbaijan. According to the order of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated April 13, 2010 complex meetings devoted to the 200th anniversary of Mirza Fatali Akhundzadeh was held in our republic. The presented catalog had published within the frame of this complex meetings. At present 92 storage units about life and activity of Akhundzadeh are protected at the funds of the museum. Photographs and documents, posters of performances authored by Akhundzadeh, his rare, scientific portraits, historical medals issued on the

occasion of anniversaries, household items belonging to Mirza Fatali shows new pages of his life and activity. It also allows us to imagine life of Azerbaijani intellectual at the end of nineteenth century. Detailed information about all the exhibits had presented at this catalog. M.F. Akhundzadeh’s biography, his services for Azerbaijani people had given in the preamble of the catalog. The catalog has been published in two languages - Azeri and Russian.
