On February 15, 2013 at ANAS History Museum of Azerbaijan will be held scientific seminar devoted to the well-known historian, one of the first researchers of medieval history of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan Rauf Aghabala oglu Mammadov's 80th anniversary.

R.Mammadov worked in various positions at ANAS History Museum of Azerbaijan, ANAS Institute of History of Azerbaijan, took part in archaeological excavations carried out in different regions of Azerbaijan, earned great respect among the scientific community of the republic with his deep knowledge, diligence and patriotism.
