The masterpieces of the National Museum of the History of Azerbaijan are included in the book of the Swiss historian, Professor Christoph Baumer History of the Caucasus at the Crossroads of Empires (Volume 1. London, “I.B. Tauris, London, New York”, 2021. P.386).
The presented scientific work reflects the exhibits stored in the funds of archeology, ethnography and in the special fund of the museum with annotations to them, made in a high-quality image, and they are visual evidence of cultural changes in different historical periods.
An article by Sevinj Akif gizi Nasirova, Academic Secretary of the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Philosophy in History and Associate Professor, has been published in the scholarly volume Türkiye – Azerbaycan Ortak El Sanatları / Turkey – Azerbaijan: Shared Traditional Crafts, dedicated to the study of the shared tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Turkey and Azerbaijan.
On January 1, 2027, Azerbaijan will mark the 130th anniversary of the birth of Aziz Mammadkarim oghlu Aliyev (1897–1962), an outstanding statesman who made a significant contribution to the development of healthcare and science in Azerbaijan.
