The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan has announced a national costume design contest to create costume sketches for the Azerbaijan State Dance Ensemble. According to the press service of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the costumes should reflect the shape, color, history, ethnographic and artistic content of the Azerbaijani national clothing.

Designs must be submitted in A3 format in three sets (each set should have three male and three female costumes) no later than March 1, 2013. The winners will be determined by jury. The first, second and third place winners will receive 1000, 800 and 600 AZN respectively. A 200 AZN mention prizes will be given to three competitors.
