On February 7, 2013 at ANAS National Museum of History of Azerbaijan was held presentation ceremony of books published by museum in 2010-2012 which was opened to the general public. The ceremony was attended by representatives of scientific research institutions as well as institutions of higher education, teachers and students together with the employees of leading republic

libraries, and book stores including book lovers and representatives of KIV.

   Before presentation ceremony participants at the specified event having an opportunity got acquainted with museum editions in the conference hall of museum.      There are  “Gems from the collection of National Museum of History of  Azerbaijan” catalogue-album, "Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev" album, “The anthropomorphic terracotta of Azerbaijan”, “ Decorative  metal  art of Shirvan”, “Mirza Fathali Akhundzadeh - 200”, “Khurshid Banu Natavan - 180”, “The defense weapons of Azerbaijan” catalogue, “From  history of Z .Taghiyev’s  female  school”, “The envoys of Azerbaijan at Paris peace conference”, “The banners of Azerbaijani khanates”, “We won together!”, “The spiritual life of Azerbaijani people” books, “The historical-cultural heritage of Karabakh”, “The epigraphic monuments of Caucasian Albania”, “Glazed tiles of Zoroastrian period in material and spiritual culture of Azerbaijan” brochures among the museum publications devoted to the  actual problems of Azerbaijan history and  exhibits stored at the museum including theses and reports  of  various international conferences, museum proceedings which play an important role. 

     Welcomed speech of the opening ceremony has been delivered by vice-president of ANAS Acad. Nailya  Valikhanli, who emphasized  the importance of museum editions. She noted that the chief aim of this event is to inform  the  general public  about  books published by museum within last three years,  and the necessity of museum editions as well as to draw public attention to the value of  material culture  exhibits  and scientific  popular literature  which are kept at the museum. During the presentation ceremony have been displayed more than 20 books, catalogs, brochures, and booklets published by museum.

     Afterwards was shown slide presentation titled “National Azerbaijan History Museum Editions (2010-2012)”.   Academician Nailya Valikhanli has  informed  the ceremony  attendees   about  museum  editions  of  “Gems  collection”,  “Museum guidebook “  as well  as  “The Great Silk Way”.  Later on Deputy Director on scientific affair Nargiz Aliyeva reported on the museum annual proceedings and emphasized   published articles of local researchers   as well as foreign ones. Museum scientific secretary Farkhad Jabbarov reported on the publication “H.Z. Taghiyev’s  album”  and  “H.Z. Taghiyev’s  female secular school”.   Museum Chief Custodian Makhfuza Zeynalova informed the ceremony participants on the activity of museum restoration laboratory and highlighting  published   booklet  on  “Second life of  Museum  pieces”.
