On March 12, 2013 ANAS National Azerbaijan History Museum will organize “Mugam world” within the frame of III International Mugam Festival.

Exhibition devoted to genius Azerbaijan composer Uzeyir Hajibeyov’s “Arshin mal alan” operetta’s 100th jubilee will demonstrate photos, personal belongings, documents and posters of cultural figures creating “Arshin mal alan” in 1913, and those who performed operetta for scenes in subsequent times. The audience got familiar with beginning of XX century – Azerbaijan city's streets, stores, shops and etc. via installations. Ekposition enables to be acquaintained with the creation of “Arshin mal alan” musical comedy history on the basis of Azerbaijan National History Museum, as well as the ability to look at the history of that period. Note that, exhbtion will be launched on opening day of “Role of the musical instruments in Azerbaijan mugams and similar traditional genres of East” international academic symposium and lasted for 2 months.
