Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan came to decision to hold an election of directors for a number of scientific research institutes including other scientific establishments with analogous status. In the connection with that during general meeting among divisions of the National Academy of Sciences

was held an election to the post of directors. Taking into account the result of election which has been held by Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan 09.04.2014, academician Nailya khanum Valikhanly was  affirmed to the post of director of the National Azerbaijan History Museum for the next five years.
