The Director of the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan, Academician Naila Velikhanli, and the Deputy Director for the Protection and Registration of Museum Exhibits-Chief Curator, PhD in History, Associate Professor Mahfuza Zeynalova, participated in the First International Forum of Eurasian Museums held in Mongolia on June 14-19, 2026.

At the forum, issues such as expanding cooperation among museums, management practices in museums, preservation and protection of cultural heritage, research activities, organization of exhibitions, and others were discussed.

The Director of the Museum, Academician Naila Velikhanli, delivered a presentation entitled “Mongolian Artifacts in the Collection of the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan”.

The presentations were listened with great interest, and detailed answers were provided to the questions that interested the forum participants.
