A Memorandum of Cooperation has been signed between the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan and the Hazrat Sultan National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The memorandum aims to strengthen scientific and professional ties between the two museums, facilitate the exchange of experience in the field of museum work, and promote joint research and educational projects.
Under the memorandum, the parties plan to facilitate the exchange of scholars and specialists, organize professional internships, and hold scientific conferences, seminars, and other events. One of the key areas of cooperation will be the exchange of professional expertise in museum collection management, including registration and documentation, preservation, and storage.
The document also provides a framework for implementing joint research and educational initiatives and expanding cooperation in other areas of mutual interest.
The memorandum was signed by Academician Nailya Velikhanli, Director of the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan, and Yerlan Yergaziyevich Dakenov, Director of the Hazrat Sultan National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The signing of the memorandum marks an important step toward further developing international relations and professional cooperation between museums of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
