The international conference “Museum for young visitors” was held in Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum on 19-21 October 2022 by the organization of  Ministry of Culture, Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum and with the support of CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation. Speeches of museum employees from Azerbaijan, Germany, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Latvia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Serbia and Turkmenistan were heard at the conference. Zumrud Ismayilova, the chief specialist of the Department of International and Public Relations of National Museum of History of Azerbaijan, delivered a speech with a paper titled “Museums are guardians of social memory: yesterday, today and tomorrow (on the basis of NMHA materials)” at the conference. Showing the presentation, the young scientist analyzed comparatively the photos from “An album covering the years of 1920-1968” preserved in the museum’s archive and the ones reflecting activities held in the museum regarding the involvement of the young generation to the museum in the modern period in the paper. The guests listened to her speech with great interest.
