Preparations are underway for the reconstruction of the exposition of the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan which will reflect all periods of history of Azerbaijan. In the newly established exposition, exhibits related to the education and science, art, press and literature of Soviet Azerbaijan are placed in the showcases.
The exposition on the first floor of the museum displays exhibits belonging to the Stone, Paleolithic, Neolithic, Eneolithic, Bronze and Iron periods (flint and obsidian, labor tools, clay pots, bronze swords and daggers, women's ornaments), and antique coins. The next exhibition hall contains ethnographic materials including carpet products, national clothing, and household items that refer to the period from the second half of the 19th century to the present.

The exhibition which would arouse great interest among tourists and give them the opportunity to get acquainted with the history of our country is going to be available to visitors in the near future.
